Hello, When using the Definitive Technology DN15 subwoofer, it's important to note that it offers three connection options, making it a versatile choice for different audio setups. The subwoofer features Speaker Inputs (Hi-Level Inputs), a dedicated LFE (Low-Frequency Effects) Subwoofer input, and Left/Right RCA Line-In Inputs. If your amplifier has a single LFE (subwoofer output) and provides crossover settings for a connected subwoofer, it is recommended to use the LFE input of the subwoofer for the best connection. The Left and Right RCA Line-In inputs can be connected to the pre-out section of your amplifier, allowing you to use the crossover settings on the subwoofer to blend it well with your front speakers. Lastly, the Hi-Level speaker wire connection option can be connected directly to the same terminals as your front left and right speakers.
