Yes I have it all wired to my amplifier through Hdmi cables.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it can, I would suggest getting a surround sound receiver. The receiver’s today have HDMI inputs so it would be as simple as hooking up the speakers red and black connections. Then plugging in an HDMI cable from the DVD player to the receiver, then an HDMI cable from the cable box or TV box to that input on the receiver and then one HDMI cable from the HDMI out to the TV. Use the remote to change your inputs ideally DVD input would be your DVD and Cable/SAT TV would be your cable or direct TV provider. With this setup you will have 5.1 surround sound and what most people don’t realize is that HD TV also has HD audio (Dolby Digital) which is 5.1 surround sound. With the receiver you will also hear a difference on Dolby enabled channels and DVD’s Blu-ray’s.
