“Do these speakers come with speaker wire in the box or do I need to purchase that separately? Do I also need to purchase banana plugs? I plan to hook these up to my Denon AVR-X1000 receiver. Thanks!”

You need to purchase the speaker wire separately. They are great speakers!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No - you need to purchase speaker wire. 15 gauge at a minimum ( the lower the number, the thicker the wire). I also used high quality banana plugs. It made a big difference in installation.

Banana plugs are not required, but I chose to equip said, as bare wire is a little difficult to use due to the binding posts being indented into the back of the speaker about 1/2 inch. However, I would not recommend the banana plugs if you are wall-mounting them.
