TomJ, I use these Prosat 800 Surround Speakers for the left and right channels in my gaming 7.1 surround sound system. Most of the dialog goes to my center speaker so my answer is not too helpful. I can tell you I push these speakers pretty hard and they do not sound muddy at loud volumes. The reproduction of sounds that are heard in typical gaming programs is crisp. If you can, I suggest you visit a BB with a Magnolia that has these on display. The BB guys are great and can isolate these speakers in their sound room and let you hear them first hand before buying. They might have some source material with dialog that you can listen to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use these as front speakers in a Dolby Atmos 7.1.2 setup so most of my dialog comes from the center channel speaker. But I will say that when I upgraded from the 600's to these, they sounded significantly better and clearer. Now if your going to buy these for your TV I'm assuming you have a receiver to power them. If dialog is what you want then you should be focused on a good center channel speaker and not these. I have the pro1000 center channel which works well with these speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, but a sound bar would be better for dialog!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also have a slight hearing problem. We set up a system using this mixing the 1000 in the front and center and the 800 in the rear, a Super Cube subwoofer, and a Yamaha Aventage RX-A780 reciver. For the first time in years I can clearly hear the voice tracks at any volume... even at low to very low volume. This may be more a function of the Yamaha room analyzing equalizer during setup than of the speaker selection but this series of speaker does deliver crisp voices for us.
