After speaking with Dell support, I can now confirm that this model has the 60 Hz screen! Everyone who was saying it was the 144 Hz screen was WRONG! I will most likely be returning this product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought this laptop from Best Buy since I was under the assumption it was a 144hz screen. It is NOT. It’s a 60hz screen. I don’t understand why people lie on here? Now I need to bring this laptop back. I do not want this with 60hz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.60hz screen and matte.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the one i just bought is 60hz. prolly gonna return it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.60hz. Will probably return it and get the 144hz flavor directly through Dell.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-laptops/dell-g7-17-gaming-laptop/spd/g-series-17-7790-laptop#features_section The website from dell shows the specs at 144 respectively. I’d ask Best Buy why yours came with 60. I too am looking into this. Additionally the external dock is type c thunderbolt but at 40 it’s still good. If I pay for this laptop I’d want the 144 too. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just ordered the same model from Dell today (with a 512 GB SSD). They told me when retailers sell their products they can order them with specific hardware and specifications. The one listed here, and one I was looking at on Amazon.com, are both 60 Hz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just bought and Im packing it back up to return. The screen runs 60hz and on intel graphics. The RTX 2060 is onboard but is all the rear connections on the laptop. Nvidia control panel has no adjustments for display.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The previous 2 answers are wrong. The Monitor refresh rate is 144HZ. The screen does have a matte finish.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
