- Answer After speaking with Dell support, I can now confirm that this model has the 60 Hz screen! Everyone who was saying it was the 144 Hz screen was WRONG! I will most likely be returning this product.

QuestionCan I upgrade the m.2 ssd to something like a 1 tb m.2 ssd, or can I add another ssd to a none allocated location. Also is the hard drive replaceable and or upgradable with either another hdd or an ssd. Also is the ram (8GBx2) or just (16GBx1)

- Answer 1.) You can upgrade the SSD that comes in it. However, it has a second M.2 slot so you could just add a second drive but I think it would need to be a SATA M.2 drive if it goes in the second slot not compatible with a second PCIe M.2 drive. 2.) It also has a standard 2.5" drive bay so you can have 3 drives in it. 3.) The model I bought came with 2x8GB in dual channel.

- Answer There are 3 USB A ports. One on both sides and one on the back side by the HDMI port. Also there is one USB type C/Thunderbolt port on the left side. So 3 USB A and 1 USB type C/Thunderbolt.

QuestionDoes this come with multi color keys? If not can you make it that way?

- Answer The keys themselves are not multi-colored, but there is multi-colored RGB backlighting. You can adjust different sections of the keyboard or the keyboard as a whole through the Alienware Command Center. Not only can you change colors, but also the light modes, like fade or pulse.

QuestionSo I see this is only HD res of 1920x1080. If you hook to an external display with higher res are you stuck at the 1920x1080? just trying to figure out if the display is being limited by the screen in the laptop or the graphics card. Thanks in adv.

- Answer The HDMI out works at 1080p, 1440p and 2160p (those are resolutions that I have tested).

QuestionIt says the Lappy boi has a 16gb and upgradable to 32gb. Am I correct to assume that it has one open slot for another 16gb to make the 32gb total? Or is it just hosting two 8gb’s replaceable with the 16’s?

QuestionDoes anyone else have loud fan issues? My Dell 17.3 sits on a flat granite countertop. The fan constantly screams on high. Its been that way out of the box. any suggestions?

QuestionCan this thing run a Valve Index VR Headset effectively? The Valve Index specs says it needs a USB 3.0 port and a Displayport 1.2. Not sure if the Thunderbolt port will substitue for that?
