• Yes, I have mine hooked up to a MacBook Pro, around the same era. I had to buy an adaptor (mini display port to HDMI), but it works beautifully. Some functions not available from keyboard (i.e. volume control) but I don't know if it's a monitor, keyboard, or PC-Mac compatibility issue. Overall very happy with the purchase. Much cheaper than buying a new iMac, which was the other option! :-D

• yes, as-long as you have a HDMI or VGA cable. thunderbolt to HDMI, vga

• It should. I connected it to my laptop with an hdmi cable and its working really good so far.

• Yes. I'm using them with a late 2013 MBPR 15 inch with the 2GB VRAM. I think they should be good for yours.
