• No, just the HDMI is enough. I have mine attached to a MacBook Pro and I did have to buy a separate adaptor for that, but if your computer has an HDMI port then you don't need anything else. Very happy with the purchase.

• No, just one video cable and the power plug.. if you want the usb to act as a usb hub then yes

• No, the HDMI is only for the picture and sound. The USB is for thumb drives or similar. I plugged my phone charger cord into it.
