I have this monitor connected to the old Pentium D computer and have no issues with the video card. Best Buy offers good return policy so you can always purchase it and try it out with your system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't believe so, it's just a self-powered monitor, you may want to look further into your specific uses for it but I tried a 22" to save space on my desktop but ended up with this 28" with an adjustable stand and the stand made all the difference for my workspace. I did not notice any difference between monitor performance from 22" to 28" but the 22" I had was 1080p and all I saw were pixels, so I upgraded to the 4k UHD and it works perfect. I did not notice any problem at all as far as performance goes. I just plugged each one into my macbook pro via a HDMI cable and didn't have any issues even with video, it's wonderful. It was just plug and play.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To use this monitor at its full potential I would recommend having at least a gtx 970 or higher. I run this monitor with a 1070 and I get an average of 100fps on ultra. As for windows I think win 7 will be fine its the perfered choice of many gamers still.
