• YES! i use mine with my macbook pro 2017 and its great quality. make sure u pick up a mini display port adapter for our USB-C input. youll get the best quality with that.

• I'm running the display on a MBP 2014 retina at 4K Not sure about the MBP 2011.... if I'm correct the 2011 has a max resolution of 1080p ?
