This monitor is great for gaming. It has GeSync technology which when added to a GeForce GPU will eliminate screen tearing and is an alternative to VSync. I play Destiny 2, GTAV, Far Cry 5, and many other games on this monitor and it looks gorgeous.

For $450 or less it is the best gaming monitor with 144hz, 1ms response and 1440p you will find that supports G-Sync. Even better if you get it for cheaper. You can find cheaper monitors, but you will need a FreeSync supported GPU (not Nvidia).

I bought one and loved it, but had to return it because my GTX-1070 couldn’t handle a frame rate above 90 at that resolution. Also, if you don’t have an nvidia GPU, don’t bother because you won’t get g-sync.
