“Since this monitor has G-Sync I wonder if G-Sync would work with my Xbox One X? I know for sure that most AMD FreeSync monitors will work with my Xbox One X.”

Gsync would not work on your xbox one x but it will still display the video unless your X1X has been modified with an NVIDIA card with drivers to accomodate it. . To be honest, its better to run it off of a 4k TV. There are maybe only a couple of games for X1X that can run beyond 60hz 60fps. You can run it through as 1440p or 1080p and select 120hz, but again, most games have capped FPS on X1X. I use my X1X on 4k to make full use of its potential and my XB1 on my monitor for recording since I run lower resolutions for better captures.
