This machine is more than capable of playing those games at full experience. You do need to update bios when you get the laptop and install the latest nvidia drivers. Then you have the ability to adjust performance on the fly as well. Updating rame to 32 gigs wont hurt either but try it with the stock 16 first.

Just make sure you do all the system updates Dell, Bios, Windows before doing anything else. A lot of bad reviews on this computer because of loud fan noise and overheating but if you do the updates problem eliminated. I played GTA V for about 3 hours the other day, my average temperature while playing the game was 65 which is in the Norm. You should be running under 80 degrees anything over can slowly cause harm to you computer, if you get to a 100 degrees on this computer it shuts down. But I feel you should have no issues running those games and more!
