I'm not very tech savvy, but so far mine has worked pretty well. I recently purchased on sale and already have multiple apps downloaded. I have had no issues with it running slow or having to restart it, things like that. As for editing videos, I'm not sure. I have only edited photos. I would just make sure the apps you want to use are compatible.
