A:AnswerThanks for the Question ... i like to haunt the "Open Box" or Cage of misfit computer and always look for a deal. Most of the time the ones I find were returned within 10 days or less. I do a little home work prior on the manufactures website. This was was a great deal and when I went to the Dell website and registered it got updates and they checked it out remotely. Great deal. No it was not refreb or remanuf just someone who wanted a bigger screen more speed yet had a small budget.
A:AnswerIt's fairly slow. I looked up the PassMark rating and it was about 900. For comparison, a newer i3 processor is around 3900. My old i3 from 2012 is rated at 2400.
A:AnswerI'm not a gamer, but my thought is that this is not a good gaming laptop. It's PassMark rating is 900, whereas my 2012 i3 is 2400. I suspect modern games would not do well.
