• If it's just DATA that you want to transfer, it's a fairly simple process, and is the same regardless of the age, model, type, year of release, operating system, and just about anything else. In order of ease: 1. Copy to a flash drive, then from that drive to the new PC. 2. Upload to the cloud, then download from there to the new PC. 3. Connect the new computer to the old via a cable, and move/copy the information from old to new. 4. Connect the old and new laptops via wireless (usually WiFi), then copy the info you want from old to new.
