DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP, DO NOT BUY A DELL!!! Choose a laptop that isn't a DELL... or you'll be in the same boat as I am. Stuck with a laptop that is less than a year old, under warranty, with a broken defective right hinge that's pulling apart the computer screen and cracking the base around the keyboard. DELL says hinges aren't covered in the warranty, even though hundreds of people have complained about the SAME ISSUE. DELL should really recall this product. I wish BEST BUY would take it back, refund my money & let me put it toward a good laptop. I'LL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DELL PRODUCT! Any other brand is a better budget choice, but if you can afford it, buy a MacBook!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the processor and graphic cards are not upgradable. This would not be a good choice for a computer science student, it is an entry level laptop.

I used it as a home laptop for about a year and converted it to a work laptop when my oldest Dell wouldn't hold a charge after 6 years of solid service. My 15-3567 has taken quite a bit of abuse and is still going strong. I'm replacing the battery and doing a 16gb memory upgrade and installing a 2tb ssd. My first Dell took all we gave it, this one has as well, and I recently purchased a 15-7000 series 7586 2 in 1. i have owned and used several other laptops from various brands and between that, my personal experience with Dell products and the feedback I get from both peers and in discussions online, I can't see how you can go wrong with a Dell. I haven't had to file any claims so I can't comment on that aspect of customer service but in the dealings that I have had with them over minor issues and inquiries, their customer service has been top notch. I can tell by the OP why he may have problems, however I highly doubt that those problems are isolated to Dell and I would hate to see anyone miss out on great devices and service over an obviously over zealous knuckle heads nonsense. Dell computers are awesome, and so is their customer service. It's very nice to be able to understand the person with whom you are communicating with, especially when dealing with important things such as your personal computer. That's a lot more than I can say for most of the competition. I guess that's ok if you're multi lingual, however most of us are not. Please don't hesitate to buy a Dell. I'm not a Dell rep, just a very satisfied customer, and one of very very many!
