“Is it good for a college student first year in school”

I would worry about ruggedness, of the entire PC and its USB and headphone sockets. This machine will see lots of plugging and unplugging of peripherals, And these jacks will fail quickly on a bargain PC. For stay at home computing, this is a super deal.

Yeah it’s a good first laptop to have it has alot of storage
