Hi! For photography, this will be okay. It won't be GREAT but okay. The only reason being, is because you might need to have more CPU power for things like Photoshop. This will definelty work! But if you can spend a little more, try and go for a laptop that has a i5 Quad Core in it.

yes! i believe so. i use this laptop for ps as well and it continues to operate smoothly. the size is more than enough for a horde of photos.
