No. I bought this as a backup. While i fix my main PC. For gaming you need at least an an. 6th generation I5 Cpu. I don't know much about AMD processors. Right now intel is on the 8th generation Of I5 processors. There are a lot of older generation I5 Cpus being sold in new pcs. So let the buyer beware. I h ope that this helps.
