Can l play dvds on this unit? null

I have not tried to read or write yet as I just got mine & I have never had a laptop before,but on Dell website,it appears that you can, - since we are directed not to leave URLs here, suggest you google "inspriron 1500 3000 DVD" & that should give you the info

DVD's can be played on this unit.

Yes it has a cd rom player on the right side as you face it
