No, this cannot be upgrade to Windows 10 Professional until after you purchase it. It is easy enough to upgrade it to Pro by purchasing the upgrade through the Windows Store for $99.
You can upgrade to Windows 10 Pro for about $100, directly from Microsoft, once you begin using the computer, however, 10 pro is really designed for businesses , with extra features for networking, etc., and is really not needed for the vast majority of home users. Unless you are going to use it for business purposes, save your money, and stick with the home version, which is an excellent system in itself.
