This is an excellent laptop for the money. The Skylake Core i3 is very zippy, and combined with the 8GB of RAM and 128GB Solid State Drive, makes starting up/shutting down, opening apps and files, and multitasking nearly instantaneous. Perfect for Office, standard photo editing/media creation, internet browsing, video/music streaming, and casual gaming. Most computers in this price range have Celeron or Pentium processors, whereas this one has a 6th Gen i3 that nearly doubles the performance of those others. Also, many have 4 or 6GB of RAM whereas you get a full 8GB here. The one downside is the size of the SSD--it's extremely fast, but 128GB may not be enough for you. If that's the case, you can always order a 500GB SSD from Newegg or somewhere and replace the 128GB SSD in this laptop relatively easily.
