What is manufacturers warranty? null

Based on the product specs on BestBuy.com, this laptop comes with a one year manufacturer warranty for parts but not labor. You will have the option to purchase a 1 year, 2 year, or 3 year Geek Squad Protection plan. Thanks!

Most laptop warranties are only 1 year parts and labor. If you're concerned about it getting damaged, get an extended warranty (which makes sense for laptops and other portable devices) as long as the warranty cost doesn't exceed about 20-40% of the value of the item. For best buy, I think the accidental warranty on mine was about $180 for two years (through Bestbuy Geet Squad).
