A:Answer As much as I hate to say it, the Dell would probably be a better choice. Unless the Surface screen bleed through was addressed, you will not be happy with it. I read up on the Surface Pro reviews, and a very common complaint which steered me to another manufacturer. Also, the Surface is expensive, and you could get a lot more for your money with the Dell.
Now that being said, I am not a fan of Dell at all. My wife and I have owned 2 high end Dell XPS and they both had issues. I had to send mine in 3 times, then tried to get full replacement under the lemon law. Dell would not replace it. They said just see how it goes, noted the account, and told me if it fails again, then they would replace it. Well, it literally failed 1 year later, out of warranty, and when I contacted them, Dell said sorry, out of warranty. My wife’s XPS then failed 6-8 months after mine.
So, I would personally recommend the HP Envy 360 convertible 2 in 1, or the Pavillion 2 in 1. No problems at all with ours, and even more for your money in comparison.
