Yes; you can as long as the product is purchased new and not an "Open Box" purchase. Just get in touch with Dell Sales after you register the product and the product shows up as you being the owner from your Dell Account page. The difference in price from what I found was $99 for Dells extended 1-year warranty vs. BB Geek Squad $129 warranty.

Open the start menu, scroll down to the Dell folder, then open and register you laptop. Then choose Dell Customer Connect and you'll have the option to buy...if it is not offered during registration. Have fun.
