The short answer is "yes". The process may differ depending on what type of machine your current laptop is. The easiest way is to create a Google Drive account and copy all your files there (this may cost money if you have more files that the file space available to your account). If you log onto the Chromebook with the same Google account, your files will just be there automatically (in the cloud, but accessible). Another way is to copy your files from the old laptop to a USB thumb drive or USB hard drive. When you've backed up your files, remove the USB device from the old laptop, plug it into the Chromebook and copy everything into the My Files directory on the Chromebook. Most Chromebooks have a relatively small SDD, but the current model Dell Inspiron 14 Chromebook has a 128GB SSD.
