“I attempt to power on but it didn't, I then placed it to charge via 1 of the 2 type C ports (the closest one to hdmi port). Still didn,t turn on after. Aren't both type C port charging enabled or just 1 ? Or do I have a possible defective unit ?”

Power must be applied through the Type-C port that is furthest from the HDMI port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.One of the C ports has a marking for the charger, at least on mine. I got an open box one and the battery was dead. It also came with a power adapter that wasn’t the right rating. Since I was able to power mine on I installed Dell’s diagnostic tool which confirmed the dead battery. Dell was very helpful and replaced the battery under warranty. This was the one year warranty that automatically comes with the purchase. I’d open a ticket with Dell if you haven’t already, good luck to you!
