“Has anyone had trouble with this overheating or being slow? I'm a homeschool mom that needs to regularly keep 75 tabs open on my browser at all times and store a ton of pictures and pdf files. Thanks!”

You're going to want more RAM / Memory for a lot of browser tabs. I would suggest getting something with at least 16 GB.
