• This unit has a fantastic camera. The dimensions are correct and if there is a drawback.... it’s heavy. I love it. Best machine out there for the price.

• There is a camera that faces the user with a sliding shield so that you control whether the camera is transmitting images.

• The Camera is OK, it has a .9MP front facing camera, with a shutter slide to block the webcam. If you're going to be doing heavy video chatting I would suggest getting a separate 1080p webcam.
