We paid more for this laptop than the chromebook we sat out to buy for virtual learning, but once we realized he needed a better PC or laptop for his AV production class, and got the recommended specs from his teacher & recommended brand from our IT guy, this was the winner! I use it after school hours to do yoga online! It’s a tablet too with a pen!

This laptop has been great on the occasion that I need to work from home. Good size storage and memory, plus a 4K screen! My screen does have a gray mark on it though. Not sure if they are dead pixels, but only annoying when the background is lighter.

I purchased this laptop for my daughter to replace her HP. She needed something that could offer more memory, space and would work faster when creating her podcasts. This is absolutely an excellent laptop and can really only compare to the newest Apple MacBook in terms of all it has to offer.

I have had this computer for a little over a year. I purchased it in late August of 2020 for college and have only used it for web browsing and Microsoft office products. I didn't really have too many issues with it in the beginning but now I cannot use it at all. I used it one day for an assignment went to use it the next day and was instantly given a security key page. It wanted me to enter a bit locker security key that I have never set up. I went to my account to see if maybe one was set up and I didn't know about it but there was no key. I have spent a total of 12 hours and counting talking to Dell and Microsoft tech support regarding the issue. I have done several troubleshooting attempts and was finally told my only solution was factory resetting my computer. I was not happy about this because I had a year's worth of school work, transcripts, projects, and more on there that I would lose. After trying more troubleshooting to try and recover my data, I was unsuccessful and decided to just reset it. Well, I reset it and the problem is still happening. Really hoping my 1200 dollars doesn't go down the drain after just 1 year. Really disappointed and frustrated.

First I want to say I don't think they gave me my 100$ student discount as I thought, but I am sure they will fix that. Howsoever, the laptop is nice. 15.6" is a good size. The screen is very crisp and shows details most won't. The ssd is actually a NVME 1TB Intel M.2. It reads and writes at around 2000mbs (250$). A standard ssd caps out at like 600mbps. The ram is 3200 speed so that helps. 16gb of ram at 3200 is better than the standard 2666. The particular i7 in this model is boost up to 4.9. That is pretty fast. The Windows Hello Feature is nice because you don't have to put in your password, it reconizes your face. The touch screen is very responsive. I feel like it is perfect. The sound is amazing. It is better than my 4k TV, my Beats headphones and my iphone 11. All around it is really as nice as the other reveiws say. Dell comes with a 1 year manufacture warranty and I hope I dont have to use it. Having a M.2 means the chances of the hard drive getting corrupted are very low. You dont run a big risk of data loss like a standard hd. I think its like a 1% chance of failure compared to the standard the drive for sure will fail in a few years 100 speed hard drives. Solid state is the way to go. The Wifi is AX meaning it is the best one you can buy as a consumer right now. The battery last forever. The graphics card is not the best if you want to game, but for standard use it gives the PC the little bit extra to get normal task done smooth. It would be the equivilant of a 250 card. The 330 is the new Nvidia 250. What is nice is that if you are not gaming your battery last alot longer with this card. Make sure to run Support Assistant and let it update your drivers when it arrives. It will do a bios update and do not allow the computer to shut off during it. Make sure it is plugged into the wall. The laptop comes dead. The power buttone is next to the finger print sensor. Dell is more trustworthy than HP.

This is an excellent product. The screen is bright, the performance is fast and the battery life is acceptable for a 4k screen. It has various ports not just USB C. One con is the fan comes on more than my old XPS. Maybe it's the effort pushing the 4k screen resolution vs 1080p on the XPS l have. It looks like a Best Buy exclusive because this configuration is not found on the Dell website easily. In fact, the 16Gb ram 1Tb HD can not be built on the Dell site. Don't hesitate when it goes on sale, it sales out quickly.

This Dell is terrific. It was exactly what I was looking for: 15.6 inch touchscreen, full keyboard, fast processor, 16gb RAM, 1tb SSD, dedicated (albeit entry level) graphics, and fully functional Thunderbolt connectivity. Additionally, it has 4k resolution, active pen, WiFi 6, all-aluminum body, and a big trackpad. The battery gives me about 6ish hours of life while running a remote desktop and several other moderately heavy applications and bluetooth mouse. Before I got this Inspiron 7500, I had purchased a similarly spec'd Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 from Costco that was on sale at the time. But I ended up returning it for several reasons. First, the USB-C port was not a Thunderbolt standard, which was a dealbreaker because I was in need of a laptop that I could use with a dock that was hooked up to multiple monitors and peripherals while also charging the laptop. Second, the 4k screen on the Ideapad was a big drain on the battery, so I ended up having to lower the resolution the make the battery last at a usable level. This Inspiron makes up for all those shortcomings and then some. My one and only gripe is that the wifi card would frequently lose the 5ghz signal from my home router. I would manually reconnect but then lose the signal again after about 10 min. I had to hunt around for a driver update, but afterwards it has been rock solid. In terms of value, this is a great buy with the $100 student discount. Get it before that goes away.

A very fine laptop with lots of nice features, like Touchscreen, stylus pen, fast i7 10's gen processor, all the memory you need. Just the PC I was looking for, but it had a problem, the Bluetooth would stop working by itself, and nowhere to turn it on again. Only a reset would bring it back for a while. So I took it back to Geek Squad to have it fixed. They didn't want to fix it, but rather order a new identical laptop. They started the return process, which includes wiping the HD, and then they started the order for a new laptop. Except it is out-of-stock and they will not get any more. They tried to find another similar model, but couldn't. I left the store with a BestBuy store credit, that I have no use for, since BestBuy has no laptop that meet my needs and budget. They could not give back the original laptop, since the wiping process was well underway and would need to be refurbished.

The screen is sharp, the build quality is above average, overall its a solid little laptop. I'll break it down into Pros and Cons Pros -Above average build Quality -Very nice Display -Pen Included -Fairly thin -2 in 1 is a nice feature -dedicated GPU -Decent size SSD -No issues to report Cons -A little heavy considering its a 2 in 1. it has some neat mobile features but its pretty heavy to be mobile -Battery life is meh at best. Give or take 4 hours depending on use -The touchpad isn't great. More precise than windows pc's of past but still no where near what you get on a MacBook. -The layout of touchpad to keyboard is a little less than excellent. I find myself accidentally hitting the touchpad or struggling to get comfortable while typing for long periods of time.

This laptop is pretty much a full spec out, and while it isn't cheap, when you compare with other options in the same range, it is matching or beating them on nearly all points. 4K absolutely makes a difference at 15.6", and the screen is bright and colorful too with nice Dell Cinema adjustment options. The 2-in-1 feature works great and the hinge is excellent - moves smoothly but also holds positions well, compared to other convertibles which can be more wobbly. The processing power is very good, with a potent i7 and the MX330 is an excellent mobile graphics chip. The talk is how the AMD Renoir processors have better CPU performance, but it's questionable if you'll notice real world differences - on the other hand, the MX330 in the Dell will still beat out even the best integrated graphics. 16GB RAM is great to ensure you never need to worry about hitting a memory wall. 1TB storage is excellent and better than competitors. The features you get continue as you have Windows Hello with both fingerprint (integrated into power button - nice) and face unlock, WiFi 6 for more futureproofing, included pen which has a brilliant charging garage near the laptop's hinge, Thunderbolt 3, HDMI 2.0, micro-SD, camera privacy shutter, and more. Coming from HP, the included Dell SW actually seems useful and more straightforward. What isn't perfect? While the keyboard and trackpad are very good, HP still does keyboards 1 step better. The trackpad seems not to be glass, which is odd at this price, but it still works smoothly and has good click action - just beat by the glass pads out there. Really nice 3 sided slim bezel, but the bottom one is moderately sized. At same time, with a "logoless' design on the interior, the laptop still looks really sleek and modern. The "ergolift" hinge to me creates odd sharp points when sitting on your lap, but ergolift approach vs. regular is just a preference. Overall, this laptop stands out as a value option within the high-end ultrabook category.

Very fast laptop and great screen. Lots of storage. I have had it for a week and my only complain is that the fan runs all the time, even when using only FireFox and nothing else. The noise is very annoying. I have updated all the drivers, but that did not help either. Not sure if other owners have the same issue, or I just got a bad one. Look forward to getting some suggestions/solutions on getting it fixed.

Good: Build feels very high quality, metal all around, very little deck flex, keys feel good to type on. Touch screen feels great to use with the pen. Pen is a lot better than I thought it would be. All around this laptop looks fantastic. Okay: Battery life is pretty normal. Performance is both great and okay, could be a lot better if not for the bad. Sound is pretty decent, like most dell laptops (not chromebooks.) Bad: Laptop runs extremely hot. CPU Temps will randomly spike to 100C even without any change in utilization of the core, causing it to thermal throttle. This translates to the laptop being very warm on your legs. Looks like with other dell laptops, they used some crappy Thermal paste. Replacing the thermal paste with high quality paste see's up to 30C temp differences under load. Also doing things like windows debloater and a few other QOL enhancements can help. However once this is done the laptop does solid work, whether its extremely light CPU biased gaming(GTA V on lowest settings, hits 30fps pretty regularly but has really bad frame drops,) or productive work like video/photo editing, or very light rendering. Overall: I am pleased with this laptop and will be keeping it for years to come. Having come from an Acer touchscreen from 2013, and a few other laptops that weren't touchscreen in between then, this is a great laptop after you fix the thermal throttling. If you or someone you know can do this, this laptop will keep you happy for a long while.

I've had this laptop for a month now and It works amazingly well. I am a college student and a marketing intern, so I use this laptop for work, school, and some gaming. I am able to run photoshop, chrome, excel, zoom, and procreate all at the same time with no issue. The display is beautiful and perfect for digital designing and seeing all the fine details when I am editing photos. The pen works great and is very convenient for taking notes. Minor issues such as a bit of overheating and the fan occasionally being loud do occur, but for me these aren't issues or dealbreakers. The laptop is amazing and is a convenient size and weight. The price is also 100% worth it and if anything I would say it's worth way more. I highly recommend this laptop.

I have used this unit for about a week now. The feel is premium, 4k screen is super. No excess heating so far, heard a bit of fan noise ones in a while, but that can managed by inbuilt DELL Power Manager App. Superfast booting, thunder bold 3 working fine, still need to check whether full thunderbolt 3 capabilities are there or not. Had slow wifi issue, after researching found that app installed at factory called Smartbyte maybe causing it, so uninstalled it, now seems working fine. OVERALL A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

I was really not a fan of Dell, but was pleasantly surprised with this 2 in 1. I've had my Sony Vaio laptop since 2013; however, I still use it a lot and it's still fast with no problems. I felt it was time to invest in a new one although I think my Sony has a lot of life still left in it - too bad Sony got out of the computer business, because it's the longest I've ever been able to keep a laptop. But back to this Dell. This laptop comes with features that's not indicated in the specs. For instance it says there's no camera, but there's a great camera that also has a shutter to close and open as needed. It comes with the Dell Pen which has a nifty little slot on the laptop where you can store it, which also serves as a charger. The pen does not require any additional batteries to charge. It's very quiet in that you can't hear a fan running or anything and the audio and visuals are wonderful. You will definitely enjoy watching a Netflix movie on this, especially if you use it with a headphone. It comes with additional Apps such as Alexa and Maxx Audio Pro, Dolby Access and some others. Originally I had bought the LG Gram, 2 in 1 from Amazon but returned it after one day. The sound/audio quality was horrible on that LG. It sounded like audio coming from a toy radio, but am very impressed with the audio on this Dell. My estimate for the battery life is somewhere around 10 - 12 hours before new charge needed, but this depends on the programs you're running. I run a lot of graphic applications, so could run longer if you're not into that kind of thing. Overall, I think it's a keeper, but hope it lasts just a long as my Sony, but that's left to be seen :)

Nice open box unit with a big discount. I have no use for the touch screen feature but it may become really useful later. It's heavier than I like but Its Ok, I'll live. Don't drop it the screen is really close to the edges, so be careful. The drive is so big I cannot fill it up, So you must like lots of big HD movies.

This is my first computer this nice, and I highly recommend it! It has every single thing I was looking for in a computer. It is very fast, longer battery life than I expected, and I love the "attached" pen. I bought it for college to install a whole bunch of softwares and I have not noticed any performance issues. I also bought the HP Spectre X360 15" to compare the two. I ended up keeping this one because it was cheaper with twice as much storage. The ONE thing that the Spectre was better for was the screen brightness. The Dell screen is totally fine, but it is not as bright and as true of a white as the HP. Other than that, this computer is great! Definetly recommend!
