Have been using this for about a month and it is really fast. The price is also really good for the specs you get in the laptop like 16 GB Ram, 1TB SSD, a dedicated graphics card, and i7 10th gen processor. If you need a laptop for online school, you should get this one!

Trust me, I had Mac, Samsung and a Hp, but this one has all of these other companies worlds, This Dell has the best Display I have ever had, super light weight, best pen input!!! The graphics card is super nice too you will be able to run games pretty nice just don't expect ultra settings, This computer will not disappoint, this is my favorite by far, and the best things is that it has 2 usb ports and a HDMI port with great speakers, I highly recommend it if you would like to sketch and do 3d animations and for engineering programs, this will do its excede your expectations!!!

Don't Skimp on Power. This Laptop is the One

I've gone through the laptops with less memory, slower processors, less hard drive and I always end up replacing them within a year or two. If you think this one is "more than you need", it's not, buy it anyway. You won't be sorry. The 4K display is spectacular. And the graphics processor (although its a low-end one) helps to render those 4K graphics. The SSD drive makes a huge difference just booting or opening applications. It's a must-have. And, the 1TB capacity is the minimum in my opinion. If you do any picture or video recording and editing, you'll be out of space in no time with a smaller drive. And, if you want a game or two, you'll need the drive space. This is the 4th one of these that I've purchased in the past 2 years - 3 in the last year. One each for 2 of my kids, one for my office, and one for my wife. The first two had 512 SSD drives and I've already replaced them with a 1TB drive. This PC should last at least 3 years - probably 5. I'm very pleased with it.

Only had the computer for a few days. Initial impressions are very good. Easy and straight forward to set up. The screen is very nice for watching a movie. The pen is a plus to use with some apps. Hopefully the computer has plenty of longevity.

I decided to upgrade from my way previous Dell Inspiron. This one so far hasn't overheated, and the fan is slightly loud but doesn't stay on long. Only complaint is that the mouse is sometimes unresponsive. Other than that, great computer.

It's a great 2 in one laptop computer at an affordable price. It can do everything you expect a good computer to do. It can be used as a laptop computer or folded and used like a tablet with a touch screen. It also has a pencil stored neatly in the keyboard area. The computer speed is quite fast. The reason I gave 4 stars is because though it's a 4k capable screen, it is not super sharp when I look at photos and watch videos. The coloration of the screen and picture quality adjustment is satisfactory but not excellent. The laptop makes some unwanted fan or hissing noise occasionally, but overall I give it 4 stars.

So far its been good. No loud fan sound or overheating. Pretty fast going on from one app to another. Sound sounds good as well. Been trying to work on Adobe PS CS6 but it doesn't support this version unfortunately. So I am a bit disappointed about that and Elements not quite the same. Other than that seems to be decent. A bit pricey I would say for only 1 year warranty compared previous model I have from years ago that still works great. Overall it's ok.

I am in IT for a living and was looking for a nice personal laptop. The build feels quality and its Very fast! Love it. With 1TB there is lots of storage. The battery live has been disappointing. Maybe with some more fine tuning I can get more out of it.

I have had this laptop for over a month now. My feelings about it are mixed. I like the screen size, the strong hinges and the fact that it is 2 in 1. It is a bit over priced for the performance it provides. I am constantly having problems with it dropping wifi in the middle of work. I asked my internet provider to check my WiFi connection and router, they found no problems. My cell phone stays connected to the same WiFi while this laptop drops off. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn’t happen during some important zoom meeting. Some keys on the keyboard are not very smooth and stick occasionally, causing errors in my typing and breaking the flow while working. This is the first laptop that I can hear the fan noise on. The touch pad is not very responsive, often making me repeat the same action over and over. The left and right click areas on the touch pad require an unusual amount of pressure to respond, making me worry that they will wear out or break. Having the choice again I would probably buy a different laptop. Thanks.

      Cricket,

Thanks for your review and we're sorry that your computer is not meeting your needs. If you'd like to see if you can fix your connectivity issues you can follow these steps:

      1. Download and install the latest Wireless Card driver. (https://dell.to/2th3Tpe) After updating the driver, re-establish the connection with the Wireless Access Point and check the wireless performance.
      2. If the issue persists, proceed to step 3.
      3. Power-cycle the local network. Shut down the Dell system, the Wireless Access Point/Router and the Modem. Wait a minimum of 60 seconds before powering up the components in the following order:
      4. Power ON the Modem, and wait for it to boot fully.
      5. Power ON the Wireless Access Point/Router, and wait for it to boot fully.
      6. Power ON the Dell system.
      7. Open Network and Sharing Center
      8. In the left side navigation pane, click on Change Adapter Settings
      9. Right click on the wireless connection icon and select Properties followed by the Configure button
      10. Under Wireless Options, select the Wireless N mode
      11. For Windows 8 or later systems click the Advanced tab and look for 802.11n Mode on the right you will be given the option to Enable or Disable. If the mode is not visible you may need to update your drivers and firmware.
      12. From the drop-down menu, choose Disable followed by Ok
      13. This should restore the wireless download and upload speed. Internet speed can be tested at http://speedtest.net.

If you'd like to see if you can lower the fan noise on your computer you can try to update the BIOS:

An out-of-date BIOS can cause loud fan noises by having an outdated temperature table for the system. Refer to update BIOS and follow the instructions to update the BIOS on your computer. You can also follow up with our Technical Support Team here - 1-800-624-9896.

You can read the full article here - http://dell.to/2ENlXfz.

Lastly, if you'd like to re-calibrate the touchpad you can follow these steps: Some Notebooks and Tablets with Keyboards have added gesture features to the touchpad hardware and drivers. A few of these features are two or three finger scrolling, pinch zoom, circle zoom, rotate and swiping. These new features may be the reason for the erratic cursor movement since most are turned on by default. You can disable or modify the way the features work in the touchpad driver properties. Here are some tips to modify these settings:

      1. In the Search box, type main.cpl.
      2. Touch or click main.cpl in the list of programs.
      3. Touch or click the Dell Touchpad tab.
      4. Touch or click on the picture of the touchpad.
      5. Touch or click Gestures (depending on your computer there may not be a Gestures option).
      6. Change the options as preferred.
      7. Touch or click Save.
      8. Touch or click the X in the upper-right corner to close the Dell Touchpad Utility.
      9. Touch or click OK on the Mouse Properties window.
      10. If the touchpad still does not work after following the preceding steps, refer to Dell Knowledge Base article - http://dell.to/2iaiujA.

In these crazy times, as a teacher, I needed a laptop that would allow me to do my job virtually. Chromebooks are don’t make the cut when you are trying to teach live and my old laptop barely made it through. I needed something with a great camera, touchscreen, i7 processor, a lot of memory, and a ton of storage. Enter the Dell! It was perfect! It’s fast and the stylus is amazing! I couldn’t be happier. Very easy to set up as well.

son is going off to college, he has a gaming laptop and gaming PC so we needed something for school. This two and one is perfect for him can use as a laptop or flip to write notes comes with a smart pen. The screen resolution is beautiful maybe a little too heavy but we didn't want something small like a surface or ipad. Has finger print and face recognition he was super happy with it.
