Battery life is about 5 hours. The keyboard has a nice feel, less key travel - once you get used to that, you can type faster with less effort.

I find that the keyboard is extremely comfortable actually. Sleek buttons which I can easily type up long documents on without much fatigue.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think the battery life is average, but I leave the screen on max most of the time and I don't take it anywhere. It depends on what you are looking for. As for the keyboard, it has improved since last year's model (it was black). It is pretty nice to type on. Not difficult to press. Decent key travel. My only gripe is that Dell could have made this keyboard larger and actually utilized the free space that it has. I still would recommend this laptop to anyone and would repurchase it. I never hear the fan and it stays cool. Really nice performance for the price. Solid buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't quite understand how people are getting the long battery life they are talking about. I got 2 hours on a full charge with normal use and 40% brightness, 1 hr 45 minutes playing youtube videos.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The keyboard has been surprisingly easy to get used to for me. The island layout worried me at first but no troubles. I am also getting around 5 hours of typical use from a charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.With no power cord plugged 10% =15 minutes by doing nothing leaves the screen on with power saver 50% brightness . And after viewing all commons mostly 1 and an half hr watching movie or YouTube . But i understand this is one of the top performent laptop which burns more battery , in fact it is very short battery life if you are looking for a carry out laptop
