• Yes you can. I added a Samsung 850 EVO with 500 GB capacity for data storage. The cable, drive cage holder, and screws were include with mine; nicely tucked away inside the laptop itself. Very easy to do. Get some decent Phillips screwdrivers. Two thumbs up for upgradeability!

• Yes I believe you can, however I you will need to get some parts for it from Dell. I believe you need two mounting rails, a screw, and the hard drive connector. I considered doing this as well until I found out the price. I would use external USB drive either SATA or SSD instead of doing the internal upgrade because I know it's cheaper. Also the mod you want to do will shorten battery runtime...
