QuestionWhat type of backlighting is used for the screen? And, what type of backlighting is used for the keyboard? If your answer is "LCD," then I must know if that relies on LED lighting or fluorescent lighting. Thank you!

- Answer LED, and it is the brightest of all the laptops I own, I actually run it most of the time at 60%, but for crisp viewing at wide angles you have to crank it up.

- Answer Yes, decent viewing angle to about 160 degrees with the screen brightness at 60, crank it up to 100% and looks pretty good beyond 160.
