it does have M.2 slot bought a Samsung 950 Pro(512gig) and currently BIOS doesnt see it nor will Windows find it... waiting Dell response
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The PCIe bus is PCIe v2.0 x4. the drive runs off the SATA controller. I have a Sandisk 512 GB M2 in the slot and the SATA speeds are 6GB/s. Not sure if this accurately answers your question. I have never seen where Hard Drives care about PCIe speeds. Not saying the M2 slot cares about the PCIe speeds, I just haven't seen it. Keep in mind that the board uses the latest Intel 6th Generation chipset. The internet would be howling if they did not include the latest specifications for PCIe.
