A:Answer Hello Char. Yes, you can still use your current Microsoft account if you are setting up a brand new computer.
In order to do so, during the initial setup for your new computer, you will be given options such as Create a Microsoft account and Create a Local account. You need to choose the option to create a local account.
A local account will give you access to the desktop and other applications. Once you have reached the desktop view you will be able to set up accounts and add your current Microsoft account to your new computer.
