- Answer Yes, you can buy an external CD or DVD drive which plugs into this computer using a USB port on the back of the computer. The external drive would sit on your desk next to the computer when you have it plugged in.

- Answer Maybe. When my computer was hooked up I have already paid for a virus protection and that continued with my new computer. I think, but am not sure if McAfee was included. Sorry I can't be certain.
