“I’m a college student in need of a new laptop asap and need to download Respondus Lockdown Browser and Proctorio… will I be able to download those on this laptop? Reviews say laptop has a mode so wondering if I can still download the 2 I need for exams?”

This laptop includes Windows 11 Home in S Mode, Respondus LockDown Browser will not be compatible with this laptop with Windows 11 Home in S Mode. This laptop will work with proctorio.
