Nope, you can always buy one for about $20 if looking for a floppy, but SSD is the way to go vs the moving part hard drives which are junk and are having bad sectors, but then again they only warranty a PC for 1 year but the SSD is better

Yes, this desktop has DVD+RW optical drive.
