QuestionIs the RAM expandable? The one other Dell laptop I am also interested in, is almost similar but with 12GB RAM and not on Intel EVO platform. Which one in your opinion, would be better for fast performance and multitasking?

- Answer The 8 GB RAM in this model runs at 4,267 MHz It Is NOT Expandable The 12 GB RAM in the 15.6" model runs at 3,200 MHz (4 GB + 8 GB) PLUS the EVO platform is designed to be more responsive. These will play many games, but the refresh rate of 60 FPS and lacking a Dedicated Graphics Module means they aren't True "Gamer", but they do have plenty of speed and responsiveness for multitasking. It's only $$$, BUT an EVO i7 w/16 GB RAM would be tops.

QuestionCan I charge the LAPTOP via Thunderbolt 4 port? In other words, can I use the thunderbolt port instead of the barrel connector for charging the laptop (assuming I have correct thunderbolt PD charger)?

- Answer Hi Joe, Thunderbolt 4 supports charging so you should have no issue using that port to charge your laptop. Just make sure the AC adapter you get is the correct wattage which should be listed on the current adapter you have now or just contact Dell support to find out the correct wattage. - Answer 2in1 means it can be used as a laptop and/or tablet.I did my research extensively and it’s a overall PC; the tablet aspect is that it folds completely to a touchscreen tablet which is great. The keyboard doesn’t detach. It’s perfect for me business and personal use. I hope this helps and answers your questions.

QuestionWhat is the Ram MHz/Speed?

- Answer According to the Dell website, this model has LPDDR4X RAM with a speed of 4267MHz. The website has an option of getting this model with 16GB, but I don't know if that means that this can be upgraded or not. I haven't been able to find that information out yet. When I do find it, I will post it because I am also looking at this laptop. Hope this helps.

QuestionDoes this model come without Alexa? Also, to be clear does this model have only one USB port? For example, would you be able to connect both a mouse and a USB drive? Lastly, does it have a CD/DVD drive?

- Answer The system does not have built in Alexa feature and comes with One USB 3.2 Gen 1 port and One Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port with Power Delivery. If you use the USB drive, you could connect a Bluetooth mouse. This does not have a CD/DVD drive.

- Answer Battery life is actually one of the key features of the Intel Evo Platform. According to the Dell website, you can expect to get 9+ hours of real world battery life with the FHD display. Another feature, is the Express Charge where you can get up to 80% charge in a little as 1 hour charging time. That is pretty impressive.

- Answer no. Ive had this computer for 3 years and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this computer has the worst battery life I have ever seen. It is a fast computer and is good in every other field like memory, touchscreen and display, but the battery life is just absolutely horrible.
