As Mark mentioned, I think you're thinking of the 2 memory sticks mentioned in the spec's. That's different than a SD memory card. The memory sticks are the memory inside the computer that it uses for running programs. It is an important spec for people who want to upgrade at some point so they know what memory configurations are available. It's also often more accurately described as "# of memory slots." In this case there are probably two 8Gb memory sticks inside this PC.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Jack, I bought a couple of these laptops and neither of them came with any SD cards. I reviewed the specs and didn't see anything about SD cards, but in the "Memory" section it did say there were 2 memory sticks included similar to what you reported. Then I looked above the "Spec" section and found a "What's Included" section. There were only four things listed - (1) the laptop; (2) the power adapter; (3) the power cord; and (4) documentation. Those are the only four things I found in the boxes I bought. I'm not sure what the manufacturer meant by their remarks in the "Specs" section, but it seems to be a little misleading at best. Overall, I am very happy with my purchases. This is a great little laptop, equipped for the future. Regards.
