No, the system is not overclockable.. The speed of the ram is 2400.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As someone earlier stated: this cpu is cooled by an unidentified air cooler. My understanding is that the 1600x, 1700x and 1800x need a good liquid cooling system ( an EVO 212 should do the trick-you don't have to spend a fortune) if you're going to have any chance to overclock. AMD's X cpu's are unlocked. Non "X" are shipped with the Wraithspire air cooler, which has turned out to be a very good cooler. Overclocking as I have understood from several owners is the luck of the draw. Some people have gotten up to 4.1ghz and some have not. There doesn't seem to be a guarantee, except that 2666 RAM seems to work consistently with the Ryzen chips. I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It runs at stock speeds for Ryzen 1800x including 4.0gjz turbo. I was very happy with the build quality and the motherboard has both M.2 SSD and M.2 NVME PCI options. 1 2.5 in HDD bay, and 2 3.5 HDD bays all available. I researched Ryzen 7 builds for sometime. I would consider this a Best Buy unless your doing a custom build.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually the system is overclockable to 4.0+ GHZ using the AMD Ryzen Master Utility. Runs fine on this system. I have ran at 4.0GHZ for a while but the system heated up a bit more and was at times, unstable. So with no realistic performance gain I closed it back down to stock. The RAM is NOT overclockable though. Its greyed out in Ryzen Master.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes is can be using Ryzen Master, bump mine up to 4.2 at 1.5v no problem. It a hoss!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This system is absolutely overclockable, if you're using the AMD Ryzen Master Software. Mine is currently running at 3.9ghz without increasing the voltage.
