The specifications you want to focus on with a new computer these days is primarily the processor and the memory. This i5 is currently the 2nd best processor on the market (for the most part) and the standard for computers these days is 8gb of memory (this one has 12). Lagging or freezing is usually indicative of other issues, and not the specifications of the computer itself. It's definitely not a slow computer. It's fantastic for every day use, and will still be a great computer years from now as long as the hardware doesn't fail. For the 12gb of memory range this is a really good one to get, especially at the current price ($530).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well... It appears to work really well so far. Any lag in performance is doubtlessly due to Comcast (my interne and cable TV provider) who seems to habitually suck! My service was hooked up two fridays ago and I've had to have their techs out twice now to "eradicate issuse" including "my signal was TOO STROG!" Never heard "that one" before but... yes I'd say, for the money it's worth the price of the device.
