• The Dell Latitude 7490 has two memory (RAM) slots and supports up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM. Your system has 16GB of RAM. This could either be a single 16GB RAM stick (leaving one slot empty), or two 8GB RAM sticks (both slots occupied). Check if your current configuration has one 16GB stick installed, leaving the second slot empty. If so, you can add another 16GB stick for a total of 32GB.
