this thing has no analog audio output (3.5mm), so what are you plugging into what? if you're plugging your speaker into one of the USB ports of this display, it will probably only charge that speaker thinking that if you want audio, you'll have to get it directly from your computer (host device) by means of a 3.5mm analog connection or Bluetooth I have a bluetooth USB transceiver plugged into my P2219H and it works fine, so you could get audio from the display to your speaker via that means, though again, you could just transmit bluetooth from your host device finally, my experience with my P2219H: my bottom display usb ports have a (1) Asus usb bluetooth adapter plugged into one port and it works; I have a (2) Logitech Unified usb transceiver plugged into the other and it works; I've used the side ports for charging peripheral devices; I've plugged an Audioquest DragonFly USB DAC/AMP into one of those side ports and it's worked now occurs to me - you can get a USB DAC/AMP like the Audioquest Dragonfly to get audio out of your P2219H. You'll probably want some short usb extension cables to work with the Dragonfly, thinking a 6", a 12" and perhaps an 18". I tried all those lengths and the 18" worked best for me.

The USB ports on this device may not be intended for routing your computer audio through the monitor, although there is a usb type port which might indicate that you first need a usb c cord to connect the monitor to your computer so it can send the usb information routed to and from the other USB ports it has available.
