• Did a quick google on this by asking your question. On a 32 bit operating system max is 4 GB. On a 64 bit O.S 8 GB of memory. There are a total of 4 memory slots, each holding 2GB Dimm in each slot. Using google ask this question “Maximum Memory on a Dell Optiplex 760”. First site that should come up is the Dell community site. Hope this helps.
