• Matt, if your PC has HDMI output this monitor will work. I use a Gamer PC too but not for that purpose so I used the Display Port on the PC with a Display Port to HDMI adaptor. Now it works great and I'm using two of these monitors. If you want the higher image output and need the Display Port then this probably isn't for you but you didn't mention you were using any special video card so you might have one of each (HDMI and Display Port) like me. This is a good monitor for the price.
