“I tried hooking up my macbook pro (which only has a usb-c port) to the monitor via hdmi and a hdmi adapter. However, the monitor keeps telling me there is no hdmi signal from my device. How do I fix this? The adapter works on other monitors (also Dells).”

• Have you tried installing the latest driver from Dell? This is a tricky one if it works on other monitors.

• If you open the menus on the monitor (hit the buttons underneath on the right hand side). There is a selection for input, maybe that will fix you up. It may not realize it is HDMI, but if you tell it that is the input I think it should work for you.
