- Answer This screen has no "anti-glare" feature. Quite the contrary, it features a reflective screen which would not be ideal in a bright location.

- Answer This particular monitor only has the DB 15 VGA plug and also the HDMI cable so if you want to use it with the older legacy operating systems like Microsoft windows XP or Microsoft windows 7 you will need to make sure that the drivers for your older Dell video card will drive this monitor. The question really should be Can the built in video card on your Dell Computer run this monitor that’s how it works

- Answer For "clamshell" mode- monitor on laptop shut- your MacBook has to be connected to power. Hook up the monitor with the laptop screen open to adjust any display issues, then you should be able to just close your laptop, wait a moment, and it should be good to go.

- Answer I am doing exactly this on my HP laptop. You have to enable it on the Windows desktop. I have this monitor set up as my primary display and the laptop's display as the secondary extended one. Right click anywhere on the desktop and then click the menu drop down options -> Display Options -> Output to -> Extended Desktop . From there you can select either option to have your primary display as the first source and second display as secondary source or vice-versa. I have this monitor (secondary source) set as primary since it is bigger than my laptop's monitor. That's the "Monitor + Built-In Display" option selected for my application.
